Melfort Village is set in a lochside location, 24 km from Oban. Furnace is 23 km away. The units include a dining/seating area with a satellite flat-screen TV. this place is great. You're tucked away in the hills and valleys below Oban. You're really in nature - with lots of paths to walk, easy to go to Easdale (a local recommendation) and overall a cozy stay. Olwan is a gem - she drew lovely maps for us, with recommendations of places and things for us to do. Go to the Kilmaford Bar on Tuesday nights for Live local music. IT was the highlight of our WHOLE trip.

Around 13 miles from Oban, the luxurious Bonawe House Holiday Cottages offers apartment and cottage accomodation in the Scottish Highlands. The location is lovely! We had a huge apartment overseeing the lake which was amazing. We felt like royalty. If you like old furniture but modern facilities, this is the place to go. The terrace is also super nice, especially on a sunny day.

It was a wonderful stay in a very well equipped pod with beautifully decorated rooms. Got to see deer roaming around in the morning from the pod and the host was really lovely and welcoming.

Located in Port Bannatyne in the Isle of Bute region, Beautiful spacious old schoolhouse with stunning sea views and beach nearby features a garden. Location of the house plus all the facilities- one word amazing.House exceeded all expectations, all the walks from the house to our trips around the island- fantastic.

The location, just two miles up from the train station in Oban, was quiet, peaceful, and beautiful with several nice walking trails. Brenda was super helpful and went above and beyond. I can’t recommend this place enough. It was wonderful.
