Varaba Country House is located in Markopoulo. This be-spoke, accommodation consists of five suites, which each open out to a patio with views over the well-tended garden. Warm welcome by the hosts, very forward coming to offer options for dinner/lunch. I also liked the facilities and the decoration of the room. It creates a homey atmosphere. Plus points for the friendly chat and the wine treat during the evening near the fire place. An oasis to relax and have a good time while you arrive/depart from Athens.

We booked this villa after a long week of travel in Greece and wanted to be close to the Airport for our flight the next morning. The place was perfect and we loved it. It's quaint and small but just the right size for us (a couple) It is not far from the beach where all the restaurants and bars are, and it's really close to the airport. The host who met us (she lives next door) was really sweet and accommodating. She even made sure we had enough towels when she realized it was two of us and not just one person. Her English wasn't the best but you could tell she had a heart of gold. AC in the room worked amazing and the shower was really nice, probably the nicest shower we had in Greece. There's even gated parking if you're worried about your car. We left our car parked outside the gate next to the Villa because the neighborhood seemed very safe.

The owner was extremely nice. The airline changed our flight, so we arrived 3 hours earlier. We were able to take the key that way. It was a big help. It's in a very good location. The metro is close by. The use of air conditioning is included in the price. Very good value for money.

We liked everything! The property is in a great location, close to the airport and in a nice neighborhood. It is beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. This property is well-equipped with anything one might need, from various toiletries to coffee and morning toasts with butter and jam. The outdoor seating area in the garden is simply adorable. I was able to sit there, enjoy my morning coffee, and take in the last bits of sunshine in fabulous Greece! (By the way, your basil plants are quite impressive!) Spiros, the host is extremely amicable and willing to help with any wants and needs. Thank you, Spiros, for arranging, in the last moments, our transportation to the airport! This was very much appreciated! We look forward to staying with you again!
