Offering barbecue facilities and lake view, Little adorable red is situated in Kiruna, 17 km from Kiruna Bus Station and 19 km from LKAB Visitor Centre. This place is perfect if you want a quiet location with Alttajärvi lake on one side and the woods and hill on the other side. We enjoyed the winter walks along the trails and walking on the lake! The location is perfect to spot northern lights and being close to IRF you can use the Aurora Alert on IRF Aurora App. Even when cloudy in Kiruna, Alttajärvi had clear sky with amazing star display of the milky way. Not much light pollution here!! Kiruna is only 15 mins away by car. The house has what you need for a few days. Washing machine has a 15min program and things dry easily over night on radiators or the clothes airer. Sheets and towels are provided. The fireplace is an extra plus! You can buy wood at petrol stations! Husky tours you will found everywhere! The mine is worth a visit! Northern light chase is for people without a car, you just need to step outside when nature decide to put on a display. Abisko has clearer nightsky so the probability to see it increases if you take yourself there.

Host was friendly, showed us trust, and was available during the stay. Used the house as our home. The house was furnished as a full-fledged home, you only need to bring your suitcase and buy food at the lokal store. Beds and linens were clean. Quiet neighborhood.

Camp Caroli 2.0 is a recently renovated holiday home in Jukkasjärvi, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. The air-conditioned accommodation is 30 km from Kiruna Train Station. My friends and I just enjoyed one of the best experiences of our life with our stay at Camp Caroli. We stayed in family cabin and it was truly perfect. It was spacious, cozy and comfortable. We especially loved sitting in the living room drinking coffee after a cold day outside. Waking up each morning to an amazing view of the snow, the frozen lake, and the raw wilderness was breathtaking! We experienced many great excursions thanks to Amanda who set everything up for us. She was extremely helpful and was always available to answer questions through email or phone. Stefan, our host, was absolutely a super star. He picked us up from the airport, took us grocery shopping, and drove us to all of our excursions which included dog sledding, the ice hotel, and our quest to find the perfect spot to view the northern lights! He was very accommodating for all of our needs during our stay. This was a dream vacation come true for us! Camp Caroli and Stefan made our bucket list dreams come true! Thank you for an amazing adventure!!
