A superb self-contained chalet with two en-ensuite bedrooms, lounge/diner and kitchen. Every possible amenity, spotlessly clean, good wifi, off-street parking. Wonderful breakfast ordered the previous evening and brought to the chalet at the requested time. Outstandingly good.

Located 2 km from Ayr Racecourse and 4 km from Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, Barns Serviced Accommodation features free Wifi and all guests have access to a shared kitchen and patio. Very close to the city centre...only a few blocks from the beach. Best part were the hosts. Sean and his mum were wonderful...friendly, helpful, always had suggestions on where to go, where to eat and were very responsive to any enquiry I made.

We were greeted with a handwritten welcome note in our room (plus cookies and chocolates!) from Liz, the owner of the inn. The inn and rooms are stately, warm and comfortable. It's 130 year old family home that has been upgraded with all the modern conveniences. The Scottish breakfast was excellent. Liz recommended the restaurant next door, which was terrific and very convenient. There was easy and safe parking on the street.. We recommend it and would definitely stay again, as it provides a great experience of a small Scottish inn.
