Private Lounge and Double Room is a recently renovated homestay in Kilwinning, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. Host couldn't do more for you showed us around the property, gave us all the info we needed, very accommodating. Priority was spotless, and the bed was so comfy, couldn't ask for more will definitely be back.

A recently renovated property, Peacock Guest House is set in Largs near Castle Bay Beach, Largs Bay Beach. This guest house offers free private parking, luggage storage space and free WiFi. A superb self-contained chalet with two en-ensuite bedrooms, lounge/diner and kitchen. Every possible amenity, spotlessly clean, good wifi, off-street parking. Wonderful breakfast ordered the previous evening and brought to the chalet at the requested time. Outstandingly good.

Located 2 km from Ayr Racecourse and 4 km from Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, Barns Serviced Accommodation features free Wifi and all guests have access to a shared kitchen and patio. Very close to the city centre...only a few blocks from the beach. Best part were the hosts. Sean and his mum were wonderful...friendly, helpful, always had suggestions on where to go, where to eat and were very responsive to any enquiry I made.

Situated in Lamlash and only 800 metres from Lamlash Beach, Monamore Guest House features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Absolutely excellent! Everything was amazing, very clean and lovely! The host was very friendly and helpful! I would definitely recommend it and would come back. Breakfast was very tasty and filling. Love the environmental aspects of how is the house run!

In the heart of Irvine, Braidmead House is just 2 miles from the sandy beaches of the Firth of Clyde. With free parking and free WiFi, the guest house also offers fine Scottish breakfasts. Super friendly and helpful staff. Could not have been more comfortable.

Beechwood En-suite Rooms is ideally located between both the towns of Ayr and Prestwick, and is just an 8 minutes’ drive from Prestwick Airport. Nice rooms, nice view from main bedroom, lots of extras for our use (bathroom, goodies), clean, wonderful breakfasts, super friendly hosts.

A 10-minute walk from Ayr Train Station, this guest house has bedrooms with free Wi-Fi and is well located for the town centre, beach and golf courses. We were greeted with a handwritten welcome note in our room (plus cookies and chocolates!) from Liz, the owner of the inn. The inn and rooms are stately, warm and comfortable. It's 130 year old family home that has been upgraded with all the modern conveniences. The Scottish breakfast was excellent. Liz recommended the restaurant next door, which was terrific and very convenient. There was easy and safe parking on the street.. We recommend it and would definitely stay again, as it provides a great experience of a small Scottish inn.
