Also appreciate the private western-style bathroom, which was always spotlessly clean. We absolutely love our stay at Nyande and hope to be back when Andy finishes setting up his dive shop. It is remote and full of life. I laid in the hammock all afternoon and watched the fish and birds all around me. Linda who helps Aron run the place always has a smile and cooks great food. The bathrooms are what you would expect around here, dip Mandi and dip toilet. Not my favorite, but normal for the area. The bungalows are well built, but I run hot and I did find that I wish I had a battery operated fan. Aron took me on a snorkel tour to Arborek island. I saw so many fish! He is a great guide, we had a lot of fun.

Mario is a wonderful host and will help you with whatever trip you want at very reasonable prices. Their garden is very nice woth orchids. The setting is a paradise. You will see and hear so many birds. The front house reef is very good and it is easy to enter the water because of their long jetty. The best sunsets in Raja. Good for a long stay. We were sad we had to leave Raja and especially this homestay.

Everything was perfect, nice place to come and unwind. If you come from the mountains or the city it is nice to relax here at the beach. Healthy food, very helpful staff and owners. There are only a couple of small shops in the Amban area but the owners were super kind to give me a ride to the city of Manokwari where there is a mall and even a cinema. Also many places to eat in town. I had a really good time here, the owners go the extra mile to make you feel at home.

This is a homestay, basic room but extremely clean, Husna is an absolutely amazing person! Safe area, she gave us foot directions to a great dinner place. Husna has a wonderful place and is a great host. Great breakfast, refreshments throughout the day, a wealth of information about the area, flora and customs 😊.

The setting of the homestay is magnificent, you can see and hear the bigger fish hunting smaller fish, right below your hut. Even baby sharks and stingrays can be seen. The full moon nights are otherworldly.

The house reef is very beautiful with many fish and corals in excellent condition. All the staff was very nice. I especially want to thank all the staff for the attention received since I had a health problem and they were concerned about my health at all times.
