Conveniently situated in Phnom Penh, Mad Monkey Hostel Phnom Penh provides air-conditioned rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and a shared lounge. Mad Monkey provided enjoyable food options at their restaurant, including beer, and had a pool to swim in during the day or simply relax in the sun. The hostel organized evening events such as beer pong and traditional food experiences, which might make working in the evening a bit challenging. I found the atmosphere to be somewhat loud for my taste, but the good Wi-Fi signal and opportunities for socializing or exploring the city could be appealing to others.

Very quiet. Every detail is perfect. Just to mention one example: the touch-on light on the round mirror in the room, brilliant! A plus is that bathroom is in the room. Best hostel I ever stayed in!

They gave us a warm welcome every time. Also they were super helpful with arranging things. Which was nice because the covid restrictions are very unclear.
