Being the winter season Stayokay Hostel Terschelling had maybe fifty to seventy guests per day during my four night stay. In the ten bed dorm room I was in, I was accompanied by none to two roommates - which equated to an excellent sleep and sleep-ins. The 10 bed dorm featured two showers and two toilets, lockers (bring your own lock), comfortable bunk beds, in a spacious room. The provided buffet style breakfast was top-notch. Lots of variety of various items - breads, cheeses, deli slices, spreads, yoghurts, juices, teas, coffee... plus plenty of tables, and probably the best sea view in Terschelling. Dinner is available in the evening, and a bar opens too. Staff were great, the facilities are clean, and it's a nice space to read, work, or just to take in the view.

Deze accommodatie ligt op het eiland Ameland, dat zich kenmerkt door een wit zandstrand van 27 km lang, een prachtig duinlandschap en pittoreske dorpjes. Sier aan Zee biedt gratis WiFi. Location was excellent! 5 minutes walk to the beach and in the other direction 5 minutes walk to the forest. Kids loved feeding the ducks at the nearby nursery. Island itself is lovely and distances between villages are easily manageable by bike.

Surfana Beach camping hostel Bed & Breakfast Vlieland ligt in Vlieland, op 4 minuten lopen van Oost-Vlieland, en biedt accommodatie aan het strand en diverse voorzieningen, zoals een tuin. We stayed 11 people in the bunk bed cabin and were very comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpfull. They organised a bbq dinner that was included and had loads of table games, games to bring to the beach and surf/sup gear. Would come back again. Also, it is directly at the beach and there was a service to get our bags from the ferry to the surf camp, so we didn't have to carry them!

Very friendly staff and exceptional good rooms and breakfast for a simple "Herberg". The man at the check in was so nice, he even offered us a second room with no extra charge!
