Uncle Billy’s Retreat is a Fly Fisherman’s paradise. The retreat and log cabin are located on the beautiful 15 acre Lake Yoolimba, which is stocked all year round with rainbow trout. Perfect for small and large groups. There are two rustic log cabins located on the lake (listed as the bungalow), which you have exclusive access to when you book i.e you will not be sharing the facilities with any other party. The Retreat sleeps 4 (1 queen size and 2 single beds) and the Log Cabin sleeps another 4 (4 single beds). There is a bathroom cabin nearby and a weather shed for group gathering. The lake surrounds are picturesq. Guests are welcome to fish using our row boat, roast a marshmallow on the fire or simply relax and enjoy yourself. We also have 'The lodge' (listed as Family Room) which is a self contained brick cabin located on a smaller lake, complete with firepit area. This cabin sleeps 4, with a fully functional kitchen and bathroom. Fishing is Fly Fishing only. No live bait or lures permitted at any of the lakes. Please also bring your own fishing equipment.

Farmers Rob and Mel and two kids Sam and Jemima are your hosts. They love everything about the New England and can recommend a raft of activities to be enjoyed here. Country hospitality is what you can expect in this little piece of paradise.

Uncle Billy's Retreat is located a 20 minute drive west from the township of Guyra. Other nearby towns include Glen Innes, Inverell and Armidale. These towns are all within 1 hours drive away.
