In the quiet village of As, at the end of a cul-de-sac, with the forest and along the field, is holiday home 'Het Veldhuis', it is a first-floor flat (not under the roof, there is another attic above). Unwind with nature around you. Or if you prefer a more active holiday, there are plenty of options, from hiking, cycling and mountain biking routes to shopping fun in Maasmechelen village.

Our goal is to make you feel right at home and offer an unforgettable holiday experience. We are passionate about creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. We love helping our guests feel at ease. In our free time, we love exploring the natural beauty of the area. An info corner is provided for our guests, with maps and brochures on all the hiking and biking trails in the area.If you are looking for relaxation and tranquillity, you will definitely enjoy the serene surroundings of our holiday home. However, if you are looking for adventure and excitement, there are plenty of opportunities to explore the area and enjoy all kinds of fun activities. Explore the Hoge Kempen National Park: Just a stone's throw from As is this beautiful nature park, perfect for hikers, cyclists and nature lovers. With over 5700 hectares of forests, heaths and fens, there is plenty to explore. Visit the city of Genk: Genk is just a 10-minute drive from As and offers numerous attractions. Visit the beautiful Thor Park or the Fashion Museum, go shopping in the city centre or enjoy a delicious meal in one of the many restaurants. Go to the Wijers: The Wijers is a beautiful 7,000-hectare nature reserve with more than 1,000 ponds and lakes. Here you can kayak, hike, cycle and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Visit Bokrijk: Bokrijk is an open-air museum where you can take a look at life in the old days. You will find very old houses, farms and craft workshops.
