The room was so stuffy and hot. The window had to be held open with my travel mug. The desk staff was not friendly. The lobby was beautiful. Breakfast was decent buy overpriced with terrible coffee and then i tried a 4€ americano hoping that would satisfy and that was terrible. Great location in the middle of town. It did the job. We needed a place to stay closer to the airport as wed been in Galway earlier that day. Would look for other accommodations if i went back to Tullamore, though not sure I would. I also lost a ring I’d just bought in my room and the said they couldn't find it. Not sure what to make of that. Lastly, there was no key entry after hours and we got back to the hotel around 10PM and hd to bang in the locked door until the bar tender finally let us in. Kind of a disappointing stay overall. Though as i said, the lobby is beautiful. And there was an adorable library you could have sat and had a drink in that looked lovely. We didng have the time to enjoy it.

Beautiful place with a fabulous host! Loved that he shared details about the history of the property and gave us an excellent restaurant suggestion (the old warehouse). Very comfortable and clean. Great location making it a short drive to TullamoreDew distillery or town.

I had an early start for work so couldn't partake in her world famous breakfasts.
Ann went out of her way to make sure that I had sandwich made for me in the mornings.
She varied the sandwiches daily and even supplied snacks. So thoughtful...

A lovely property and convivial host in the Midlands. One of my best b&b experiences in over 40 years of travel. Historic home, tastefully furnished, very comfortable. A quiet country stay but not far from town. Next time will stay longer!

The Sea Dew B&B was wonderful, as was dinner at the Italian restaurant, Mezzo. The Tullamore Dew Distillery Tour was amazing and a do not miss stop. Even if you’re not crazy about whiskey, the tour is educational and what beautiful setting!

Much effort by the shop keepers and owners of Tullamore.
Much effort by the shop keepers and owners of Tullamore. Flowers hanging outside of the premises etc.
The town is let down very badly by the town council as the footpaths are a disgrace. They have not been cleaned in a very long time, if ever.
The paths were black marked, sticky and disgusting.
These premises are paying rates and being let down badly.

There were 5 of us staying and we were treated like family.
There were 5 of us staying and we were treated like family. We enjoyed having a proper Irish breakfast served in our kitchen. And a wonderful full dinner along with the enjoyable host cooking and serving in the farm house. Marg would suggest places nearby to visit and tour. We even got to enjoy watching some of the DVD's that were available for our entertainment.

Shops don't all open on Sundays like other big towns.
Shops don't all open on Sundays like other big towns. We were there for a football match. Plenty of parking at the GAA ground.it was easy to get around the town and well sign posted. We got takeaway in McDonalds and it was great service.

People friendly, would highly recommend the Harbour Bar,...
People friendly, would highly recommend the Harbour Bar, Great staff,
Hi to Mike and all the Watter's family. Would love to go back now that restrictions are lifted. Huge facility with brilliant outdoor area. Was there to meet with family so didn't get much "free time" to explore the town but hubby and I liked our experience in Tullamore.
Great shopping also near the Bridge House Hotel and the Central. Would like to have had more time to wander the town of Tullamore. Have to visit the Tullamore Dew experience next time. Would recommend Tullamore for a "couples break" because of hotels, bars and shopping..
The staff went above and beyond. Sarah, who worked at the front desk, went to great lengths to get us a taxi when no one would respond to our request via Uber )I guess it was a busy day). In fact, she came outside to check on us and pointed out the beautiful balcony might be a more comfortable spot for us to enjoy, since we had about a 20 minutes wait. She made an outstanding ambassador for the Bridge Hotel, Tullamore and for Ireland as a whole. We hope to return to the Bridge House Hotel for our next visit.
Mary was incredibly helpful--besides making sure that I feel comfortable and enjoy the area, she also helped me with looking for resources for my PhD research (the reason why I came to Tullamore). She absolutely went out of her way to look for things I could do and it is greatly appreciated, as it made my stay a real success. The house is very well located just off the main square and beside a very nice river. The room was spacious, especially the bathroom, and beautifully furnished. I will absolutely be back!
Staff were very pleasant, from Ava at reception to the really friendly bar tender who also helped wait tables for evening meal. The waitress who was a student also was lovely to chat to. It was one of the first days back after lockdown, so you could see that all the staff were working extra hard. The food was lovely. Breakfast was super and this service was very fast once seated. It is a nice little hotel, comfortable, central, close to shops and the lovely park, and I will stay again.
my sister and i loved our stay in kitty's townhouse. spotless, modern and in a lovely quiet area five minute walk from shops etc. we enjoyed getting our breakfast in the fabulous kitchen. claire left brown bread,
milk, butter, and cereal. bedroon lovely and cosy. bathroom spotless. we hope to return. Better by far than some hotels. Highly reccomend. A big thank you to our host Claire.
The hostess Mags was brilliant & the apartment suited all our needs perfectly. We are from a farm community back in Canada so we were in our element here. And there were puppies!!! 😁
They are in the process of completing a games room/bar area for future guests to enjoy too. We highly recommend this spot!
The staff were lovely, the receptionist Laura was so helpful the car park was full and it was raining and she organised a gentleman a member of the staff to come down and he gave up his space and let us park and gave us a lift back to the hotel, a credit to the hotel food was excellent 😀
Frank, the host, was more than amazing! He was so friendly, caring, and respectful, and he gave us some great recommendations and even helped us secure a place for the Tullamore Dew distillery. What a great experience. The breakfast was absolutely lovely and delicious. Highly recommend!!!
The bed and breakfast was kept in top notch condition. Truly is a credit to the owner who took care of us and treated us to a great breakfast the next morning. Would reccomend Tudor Lodge to anyone travelling to the area of Tullamore
The home was conveniently located in Tullamore, quick trip to downtown area by car. The room was complete with two beds (full & single), coffee/tea/water. The private bath was very clean and well supplied with towels.
The space is clean and has definite proximity to immediate great areas to visit for those interested in nightlife or whiskey! It’s private space is nice in an area where normally that would be very difficult to find.
Food downstairs was superb. The staff were extremely helpful and accomadating. The townhouse is located right in the heart of Tullamore making it an excellent location couples and groups of friends to use.
Emmet is extremely accommodating, nothing is to much trouble. The place itself is clean and comfortable. Its on my list of places to definitely stay when I'm in the area, recommend it to anyone.
Very well kept B & B in Tullamore within walking distance of the town. There is ample parking on site and the check in process was very easy & hassle free. Perfect for a stay in the town
