Mittes Rum is located just 300 m from the shopping area Vimpeln where you find the foodstore Ica MAXI, restautants - Edith's Kök, Sjöö and Beach, a pharmacy, ATM, stores selling sportswear, fashion, consumer electronics, hairdresser, gift shop amongs others. 250 m from the accommodation you find the lake Gerdsken [yaerrs-ken] where you can go for a swim or enjoy a nice 5 km trail around or a meal at da Riccardos pizza/catering. Alingsås charming city center with shops, cafes, restaurants, museum, library, cinema Saga etc is just a convenient 10 min walk away. This is where you find the train station with train connections to Gothenburg or to Vårgårda, Herrljunga, Stockholm. Nolhaga park with Nolhaga Slott, play and zoo park and frisbee golf course is nearby and well worth a visit. Brobacka with pot holes from ice age and nice hiking trails is worth a visit as well as Gräfsnäs with a fantastic park and castle ruins, and during the summer you can try a old steam train here.
