This classic 4-bedroom home in Carnelian Bay is the perfect launching pad for year-round fun in Tahoe. Minutes from the beach & a short drive to 3 major ski resorts, outdoor adventures are just outside your door! Inside the home, you will find an open common space filled with natural light, 4 cozy bedrooms, with 2 of the bedrooms including multiple beds offering extra sleeping space for larger groups, a great outdoor space with a hot tub, & views over the forested backyard. Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.

Centrally located near the town of Kings Beach and Northstar Ski Resort, the location of this home offers quick and easy to many of the area’s top attractions. Within walking distance to the house, you will find an endless network of National Forest trails perfect for walks, runs, and bike rides in the summertime. Just a short 3-minute drive will take you to Patton Beach, a lovely beach that is great for swimming. Nearby Patton Beach you will find a variety of entertainment and dining options such as the famous Garwoods Bar and Grill, a wonderful lakefront dining experience, CB’s Bistro and Pizza for family dinners, Magic Carpet Mini Golf and Arcade for the little ones, and a 7-11 for all of your late-night needs. The beautiful Carnelian West Beach provides another excellent swimming spot just a few minutes drive from the home. In the winter months, you are only 15 minutes from Northstar, 25 minutes to Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows, and 10 minutes from the Tahoe City Nordic Center where you will find a huge network of trails for XC Skiing or snowshoeing. A short walk from the home will take you to a small hill that is great for sledding! Those wonderful trails on the National Forest system near the home are perfect for enjoying some XC skiing and snowshoeing in the winter months. If a little less physical activity is what you are looking for you are a 12-minute drive west to Tahoe City and 7 minutes east from Kings Beach. In both places, you will find sandy beaches, farmers markets and major grocery stores, golf courses, small boutique shopping, waterfront parks, golf courses, weekly concerts in the summer, and a wide variety of bars and restaurants. You are also 10 minutes from the Nevada state line where you will find casinos and concert venues. This cabin is the perfect launching pad for any Lake Tahoe experience!
