Aloha and welcome! We’re the Ehlert’s – Karen, Ted, and Dagny – and we’re so happy to host you in our cozy cottage in Erie, PA. We’re travelers and adventurers at heart, and love to explore new places that might not be obvious destinations. That’s how we found Erie! Since Ted’s work (serving in the US Marine Corps) keeps us bouncing around the globe, we like to have a place to come home to and reset – and a place we can share with others until we finally settle down. So kick back, relax, and make the best of Erie!

While staying at 1734 W. 26th St, you'll be right in the middle of everywhere in Erie! Several restaurants and parks are within walking distance, or a short drive (5 minutes), and you'll be within 10 minutes of downtown, shopping, or the airport, and only 15 minutes from Presque Isle State Park and its beautiful beaches. The trade-off to our central location is that 26th Street is a busier street, and there are businesses for neighbors. You'll be next to a fire station, which is great if you need them, but can be a bit of a startle if they happen to respond to a call during your stay.
