My God the piece of land where the property is located is impeccable it’s heavenly with all its greenery, trees and landscape. The bungalows are amazingly built, very clean and the privacy is great due to only having just a few scattered bungalows on such a spacious piece of land. The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful which was another plus. Gabriel was amazing, very helpful, very friendly and very welcoming. My girlfriend and I would stay there again without question. There’s no food service but there’s everything in the kitchen to make meals and so many restaurants around in the area.

Nestled in the jungle amidst an enchanted botanical garden, 300m from Playa Grande, Wildlife Lodge Cahuita is the perfect getaway for nature lovers. The most unique and fantastic stay with Fernando. If you love nature, plants and animals this is where to stay. The bungalows are large and comfortable with good showers. In a lovely calm location where we saw monkeys, many birds and. snake. Breakfast is homemade with great care and organic and gluten free ingredients. Fernando told us so much about Costa Rica and the local area and was very generous and helpful.

Satta Lodge offers you a unique experience in the heart of the Caribbean jungle and 700m from Cocles beach. First of all I don't understand why some guests „criticize” the road here. You are in a jungle and consideration and respect should be given to animals, nature and people. We loved everything… The area, the bungalow and the really good breakfast (I highly recommend the french pancakes). Waking up to the different animal sounds was impressive. The staff was super friendly and every time very helpful. The rooms were also absolutely clean and comfortable with a fantastic view to the jungle. This place is a paradise - Please keep it like that! :) Thank so much for this beautiful experience. We’ll definitely come back (hopefully next year). PURA VIDA 🦥☀️

Boasting a garden, Hotel-Cabinas Nadine offers accommodation in Cahuita with free WiFi and garden views. This property offers access to a balcony. The house is just amazing! Cosy and nice, in great location, open kitchen with big sofa, lovely upper floor..you can enjoy the voices of the jungle!

Wildlife everywhere...stayed 2 nights and saw way more here from porch then saw in the NP ..howler and capuchin monkeys at all times of the day huge iguanas agouti birds butterflies crabs so much to see it was incredible..was the highlight of our trip of 20 days so far .. if you are visiting for wildlife THIS IS DEFINITELY FOR YOU!! DONT HESITATE it was amazing. It's a wooden simple private cabin with a comfy hammoc Cahuita NP next door and in centre of town There is a kitchenette you can access fully stocked ...the fans in room are good enough to keep you cool as well as the bug netting around beds was nice

We liked it so much that we decided to spend our last week in Costa Rica here. It's a beautiful secret place. Sleep in the sounds of the jungle, wake up with the monkeys, saw green macaws, sloth, frogs etc. the kitchen is openspace with the most gorgeous views. Access to the beach is superb, an adventure in itself. The kids love it here. highly recommend for nature lovers. Thank you Congo Bongo for a wonderful holiday.

Playa Negra Guesthouse is located in Cahuita, right in front of the beach. All units feature a seating area. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with pool or garden views. Beautiful place, friendly staff, we saw lots of animals on guesthouse area, superclean room.

Situated 5 km awayfrom Cahuita in the Limon Region and 18 km from Puerto Viejo, Passion Fruit Lodge boasts an outdoor pool and views of the tropical garden. Cocles is 20 km from the property. We have stayed in many places around the world, few as satisfying as Passion Fruit EcoLodge. Delphine and Bert were consummate hosts, the breakfast extraordinary, and the aesthetic of the cabin, the pool, and the surroundings exquisite. Simple elegance, done with the refined taste of an interior designer and architect. Each choice, from the food to the furnishings to the burbling dipping pool attached to the cabin, was done with such attention to detail and with such care. We were surrounded by the sounds of nature, from the wild sounds of the howler monkeys to soothing sounds of more than a dozen different birds in the space of a few minutes (identified with Merlin, the Cornell Ornithology ID app). On one day, we were rained out of our adventure, but returned happily to the front porch of our cabin to read in the Adirondack chairs. We felt not only well-taken care of, but in the company of intelligent and worldly hosts. Passion Fruit EcoLodge merits our unconditional praise.

Playa Grande Lodge & Tree House offers pet-friendly accommodation in Cahuita. Puerto Viejo is 16 km from the property. Free WiFi is available throughout. Alberto (the host) was super kind from the beginning till the end. The place was super relaxing and the breakfast Alberto served was delicious. Alberto even exchanged us US dollars to colones at a very good rate (the best we found). Definitely recommend this place. You'll enjoy it.
