Everything is very well designed and they did an excellent job keeping the character of the old castle while making it feel very chic and elegant. Very quiet night away from things was just what we needed. The breakfast was delicious and there was more than enough food. Staff was very polite and friendly as well. I highly recommend this hotel.

My grandparents came to the United States from Illmitz, Austria. I enjoyed seeing the village. I stayed at Johannes Zech Hotel and visited with Rudy Karlo at Landgasthauf Karlo. Both of theses places have excellent hotels and restaurants. Also, I went to Podersdorf where I saw Neuseidler See. Eisenstadt was the biggest city I visited in Burgenland.

We ate at the Hotel Burgenland......it was great! We really enjoyed Esterhazy as well. We had the tour there and it was informative and fun. We learned some things about Haydn that we didn't know before!
