Located in picturesque scenery at the foot of the Hochkar Mountain, Hotel Fahrnberger offers a restaurant, a spa area, a bathing pond and Ayurveda treatments in Lassing, 5 mi from Göstling's center. I loved our room with balcony, great service, and awesome 4-course dinners. If you think you perhaps do not need a 4-course dinner, stop right here. The food is stellar, beyond any expectations. Great wines as well. The staff was extremely kind and nice and I regret we didn't manage to properly thank the lady that served us during dinners as she made us feel at home with her smile and friendliness. The location is a few minutes drive to fun activities like Wasserlochklamm Palfua, Lunzer See, Hochkar,… I should also mention that for our stay we got the Wilde Wunder Card which is a free pass to all of these activities and much more. Also, I had the whole restaurant sing happy birthday to me thanks to the owner and my wife (who plotted it behind my back :) ). Thank you for the great stay!

Great location, very friendly staff, food was great! My daughter left her AirPods and they sent them to us! We have stayed here several times and always have a great experience.

We loved the place, the view from our balcony was just great - grasslands, forest, mountains as far as eye can see. Nice hosts. Simple, but quite tasty breakfast (payed extra). If you are staying there in the summer, definitely try swimming in the river in Göstling. (Free, a beach next to Ybbstaler Solebad. BWT, the payed place in Hollenstein is also amazing.) Perfect after a hike in the mountains.
