Overlooking the Danube River, this 4-star hotel occupies a 17th-century monastery in the historic Old Town of Hainburg. A sauna, a steam bath, and an infrared cabin can be used free of charge. Reception really friendly. Rooms are big and quite. 9 km away from Bratislava city center (10 mins driving). 40 mins away by train (the train station is across the hotel) to Vienna city center. Restaurant had good quality food (breakfast was generous and the a la carte was also good). Free parking.

Only 130 metres from the Archaeological Park Carnuntum, the Hotel Marc Aurel is located in the village of Petronell. It features a restaurant with a garden terrace and free Wi-Fi. Everything was clean, the staff is really nice, the food was yummy, really good value for money. We’ll come back for sure.

Offering a children's playground and views of the garden, Hotel Restaurant Stöckl is a 3-star superior hotel, situated in Bad Deutsch Altenburg, 40 km from Vienna. Close to the Danube bike trail. Charming hostess. Little hiccup with air conditioning at the beginning but host made it right. Roman ruins nearby very interesting. Recommend.

Set amidst the picturesque countryside of the Weinviertel Region in Stillfried and surrounded by vineyards, Winterhof Küssler offers a wellness area, an inner courtyard hidden from the view, a sun... Everything was perfectly clean. Property was just awesome. We were happy to stay there. I can strongly recommend and especially if you like wine 👍🏻

Gasthof zum Goldenen Anker occupies a 400-years old historic building next to the Danube River and the medieval city wall and a 3-minute walk from the Old Town of Hainburg. Charming hotel with so much character and really beautiful bedroom, with gorgeous antique furniture. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and check we had everything we needed.

Hotel Restaurant FIDI enjoys a quiet location in Wolfsthal, a 15-minute drive from the centre of Bratislava. It offers Austrian cuisine, free WiFi, and free parking. Nice and spacious restaurant and clean rooms. I was the last person at the morning in the hotel, as everybody left it very early. And staff was waiting for me all the time so I had breakfast, which had a variety of meals and very good quality. Didn't have a chance to thank them. So if you read this, thank you very much! :)

Hotel König Stefan อยู่ใน Bad Deutsch Altenburg ห่างจากปราการ Carnuntum 4.8 กม. และห่างจากคฤหาสน์ Schloss Petronell 4.8 กม. Lovely room, excellent breakfast, and good food at the restaurant. It’s right next door to the thermal baths therapeutic institute. We didn’t do our homework about accessing the baths in COVID times (it was very hard to get info online). You need proof of vaccinations and do a COVID test.

This 3-star hotel is located in the small town of Fischamend, 5 km from Vienna Airport and 20 km from the city centre of Vienna. Helpful staff, great location near airport, and yummy breakfast.
