Decorated with unique shapes and creative colors, Hotel Fuchspalast is located in the center of St. Veit an der Glan. The staff were lovely, the room was spacious, secure parking is validated in the hotel, even little touches like the air is refreshed with a really nice scent throughout the hallways. I'm not sure I should give away my secret, but if you are looking for accommodation for ironman Austria, it is a really nice distance away from klagenfurt to keep away from the hype, but St Veit, as part of the bike course, still makes the area special for race weekend. In fact you cycle past the hotel and go down the pedestrian Street with music playing and people outside cafés cheering
