Offering a children's playground and views of the garden, Hotel Restaurant Stöckl is a 3-star superior hotel, located in Bad Deutsch Altenburg, 25 mi from Vienna. Close to the Danube bike trail. Charming hostess. Little hiccup with air conditioning at the beginning but host made it right. Roman ruins nearby very interesting. Recommend.

Gasthof zum Goldenen Anker occupies a 400-years old historic building next to the Danube River and the medieval city wall and a 3-minute walk from the Old Town of Hainburg. Lovely property in a unique location by the Daube. Very friendly and helpful hotess who spoke very good English.

Hotel Restaurant FIDI enjoys a quiet location in Wolfsthal, a 15-minute drive from the center of Bratislava. It offers Austrian cuisine, free WiFi, and free parking. Nice and spacious restaurant and clean rooms. I was the last person at the morning in the hotel, as everybody left it very early. And staff was waiting for me all the time so I had breakfast, which had a variety of meals and very good quality. Didn't have a chance to thank them. So if you read this, thank you very much! :)

Just 5.6 mi from Vienna Airport and Vienna’s city center, this family-run hotel is located in the center of Schwechat. It offers free limited parking and free WiFi access. Staff was extremly friendly! We forgot to put back our cards on checkout and took them with us on accident. Staff said to just mail the cards whenever, it doesn't have to be now, no problems. Hotel ist also small and compact, you have no trouble finding breakfast rooms.

Only 2.5 mi away from Vienna Airport, Das Reinisch Just Rooms enjoys a quiet location away from the flight halls. It offers free WiFi in public areas and free parking on site. I especially liked its position, room and facilities. I chose it mostly because it's close to the airport and I received what I asked for in the end. + I could leave the room at 4:30 AM which was necessary for my flight. And the train station was not that far.
