Hotel Sonnfeld features a restaurant that serves local cuisine and hosts traditional live music. All rooms have a balcony with mountain views and free WiFi. Using the online check-in was merely a routine procedure upon our arrival. The hosts welcomed us warmly, showed us the dining area, our room, and were always accommodating throughout our stay. The atmosphere felt very familial. Our half-board included an excellent breakfast and dinner with options to choose from (appetizer - salad, soup, main course, and dessert) the day before or on the day itself. The culinary skills here were of a high level, so we eagerly anticipated each evening. We also visited the local wellness center, whose services were included in the stay, featuring four saunas and a relaxation zone. The interiors were modernly furnished. There was also a space for ski storage in a heated room, eliminating the need to keep them in the car. As a farewell, the hosts gifted us local jam as a kind gesture. Overall, the stay was very pleasant and ideal for a winter vacation. It was hard to leave, and we will miss the accommodation and its familial atmosphere.

Featuring barbecue facilities, Hotel garni Landhaus Bürtlmair is located in Hinterstoder in the Upper Austria region, 5 mi from Großer Priel and 1.8 mi from Hirschkogellift. We stayed Landhaus Hotel during our family ski trip and loved everything. Maria and Ferdinand went beyond and above to take good care of us. The room was comfortable and we had delicious breakfast included. Overall we had a wonderful stay and we felt like visiting our family! The hotel is a walking distance from the village but for the ski lift is better to take a free ski bus, I guess this was the only small inconvenience.

Located in Hinterstoder, 29 miles from Admont Abbey, Landhotel Gressenbauer provides accommodations with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Veggie diet was ok, if there was nothing for the day, they prepared special meals. Sauna experience after skiing was really nice. Spectacular view from apartments. 1000m to the ski slopes and station was really great prepared.

Set on a hill above the scenic village of Vorderstoder, the Landhotel Stockerwirt enjoys a quiet location amid the Kalkalpen National Park. It offers a spa and a breakfast buffet. Cozy cottage with lots of space and 2 bathrooms. Good choice for group of friends or 2-3 families. It was our second time we went there. Good destination for skiing. (Hinterstoder or wuzerarm)

Located in the Hinterstoder ski area, Backer-Ferdl Panzio is within 1.2 mi of Hinterstoder town center, an outdoor pool, and a ski bus stop. Everything was perfect and the landlord was very kind and helpful when I had troubles with my car, far exceeded the usual customer care.

Hotel Restaurant DAS RÖSSL is located in a historical building in the center of Windischgarsten. It has a traditional restaurant with characteristic Austrian cuisine, a bar and a wine cellar. The location in the centre of the town is absolutely fabulous - in the middle of the Alps, yet only a few minutes drive from the Pyhrn Autobahn. The room was fine in a historic building with quite some charm created inside mostly by the wooden stairs and the furniture on the 1st floor - we liked it a lot. It was also well sound-insulated. We noticed the morning rush on the streets only after we opened the window in the morning. The hotel is accommodating and welcomes dogs, which is a plus. Even though in the center of the town, we had no problem to find a bit of greenery around to let our furry friend run around a bit. The lady at the reception desk was also very helpful, thanks! The breakfast was fine, rather standard - lots of choice and we could find everything according to our individual tastes. There's a good choice of restaurants in the vicinity too. All in all, we had a great stay - 1 night on our way from the north of EU to the south - we enjoyed the break and had a good time. We would stay anytime again. Oh, and the tasty spring water from the tap on the 1st floor! That is a nice touch - don't miss it!
