Lovely view of the mountains and very peaceful as it is on the edge of the town. Wished I took a stroll in the surrounding forest as the area is beautiful. About 5-10 minutes walk from the centre of Soll (it is an uphill walk, so a bit more challenging if you have heavy luggage to carry or ski gear). The bus (Red line) stops right outside and runs to the ski gondola, so very convenient. It however does not run that often after the "ski rush hours" but luckily the hotel is still walking distance from the gondola. The hotel also has ski storage facilities. Fantastic sauna facilities with beautiful views - used it everyday during our stay and it was so relaxing. It was really a highlight of our stay. Good breakfast spread. We had dinner at the restaurant one evening and that was also very nice. Overall - lovely stay and good value for money.

The family-run Beim Hochfilzer Superior 4 Sterne is situated 1 km from the village of Söll, in the scenic Wilder Kaiser mountain range. location, incredible views, everything was so good that I didn't want to go home, now my husband and I are thinking about buying such a house😅 we liked everything very much, complete relaxation and the air is just amazing Thank you so much 🫶

Situated in Scheffau am Wilden Kaiser, the 4-star superior Hotel Leitenhof SUPERIOR offers modern and luxurious chalets and suites. There is a spa area with a natural swimming pond. Breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend getting the dinner. Great value with 4 courses that were excellent every night! The recommended wine pairings were excellent as well and we were able to try Austrian varietals.

Nestled amid the unique natural landscape around Ellmau, Hotel Der Bär offers an all year round heated indoor and outdoor infinity pool with panoramic view, a sauna and steam bath, fitness area and... This was one of the best hotels we stayed on our trip and the staff were exceptional. The bar and waiting staff were all professional, friendly and helpful. The facilities were exceptional especially the outdoor pool in the winter. Skiing was fabulous and we had unlimited activities to enjoy during the day too if you needed a day off skiing. The room was very comfortable and complements to the hotel cleaning staff who always had our room spotless. The food every day was excellent and always a good choice on the menu.

Surrounded by a wonderful mountain landscape, the Föhrenhof offers a quiet location at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser mountain. Room on the very top under the roof in the side house. Very nicely decorated, lovely modern bathroom. Room had a balcony and is in a very quiet location. Very good breakfast and great dinner in the restaurant. They offer a sauna but we did not use it so we can not comment on that aspect. We have friends that live nearby and we didn't want to stay in Ellmau itself, so do note that you are NOT in the center of Ellmau with this property. But for us the location was excellent to walk to our friends house.
