Simply wow! One of the best places to stay on our trip to Australia. Our cottage was lovingly decorated, it was very clean, had enough space and perfect facilities. The beds are a dream, we slept very well. Plus the wonderful air from the Grampians, birds and numerous kangaroos right at and around the cottage. We felt very comfortable with Matt and Danny. The surroundings with various walks are impressive. If you are travelling to the Grampians and looking for accommodation in Halls Gap, you should not miss Wonderland Cottages!

We had brought our own breakfast, so cannot comment on what may have been provided. Overall, our stay was excellent. The facilities and staff at The Grampians Motel were by far the best of the five motels that we stayed in during this road trip from Melbourne into Sth Australia and back home again. The location is on the edge of Halls Gap town, but the views of the mountains and the small mobs of animals (kangaroos, wallabies, emus) across a very large park like front gardens were beautiful. Cockatoo Cabin is a rustic timber home which is a great as a base for exploring the Grampians region. It's a small partly renovated cabin with a modern bathroom. The cockatoos arrived on the verandah within 2 minutes of parking our car there! And they're very friendly. Plus we found a kangaroo in the front garden when returning one evening. This is the best area in Victoria for seeing Australian wildlife roaming free.

A beautiful place to stay. Very spacious with a lovely yard, stunning views and an occasional kangaroo or kookaburra stopping by. The kitchen was very well-equipped. The Main Street and gas station were less than 5 minutes’ drive down the road - super accessible. We had the loveliest time here and it broke our hearts to leave. Highly recommended for any family or group of friends planning to visit the Grampians!

A warm welcome to the hotel by the owners who took time to sit with us around a bonfire at night for a chat and a few drinks. A really clean and welcoming place to stay in the middle of the countryside with breathtaking views of the Grampians. In the morning we opened our room door to a field full of grazing kangaroos and roaring fire in the communal area. Really nice place to stay.

Lovely spacious hostel, comfy & clean with plenty of room to chill out. The manager was really friendly & super quick in helping fix my bedside light when i couldn't get it to work. We only stayed one night, but wish it was longer. Highly recommend if looking for somewhere to chill out after hiking in the Grampians

The owner Karen was magnificent, she was very welcoming and informative and even offered to drive us into Dunkeld so we could have dinner at the Royal Mail Hotel. The accommodation is on a lovely farm with spectacular views of Mt Sturgeon in the Grampians.

Log cabin with expansive view of the Grampians. At dusk kangaroos graze close to the cabins, providing that most iconic view of Australia: roos hopping through a dry landscape. Log cabin is fully equipped and has outdoor setting. Central BBQ facilities

Location, Host and rooms are great. There is from time to time live music outdoors + a bar. You can see a lot of eastern grey roos on the lawn next to the accommodation! The Grampians are just beautiful.

A great location with very friendly hosts. The hotel is located well if you are traveling to the Grampians or if you need somewhere quiet to unwind. We'll definitely visit this motel again.

Linen was lovely and clean. Caravan Park itself was quiet. Walking track was great, plenty of local wildlife and short walk to local hotel with great food and excellent views of the grampians.

Would definately stay again, if I was visiting the Grampians area again. A 200 metre walk to the Halls Gap Hotel to have a meal or a longer walk into town along the beautiful track.

property was close to local shops and restaurants with scenic views of nearby Grampians. staff were very friendly, hotel room was very clean and rooms very large and spacious .

Easy assess to the hiking trails that lead to Pinnacle and other lookouts in Grampians National Park. Having our car parked right in front of our room is an added advantage.

It was so clean, landscaped and with the Australian native animals. So relaxing and recommended for all who want to relax amongst the Grampians.

Amazing location out of town. Really felt like you were in the bush. Absolutely delightful! We saw lots of wildlife, wallaby's and deer. By far the loveliest place we stayed during our month stay in Australia. Instruction manual very detailed and helpful. Great black out blinds, coasters, blankets, magazines. Very homely. We used the bbq both evenings as it seemed pointless going out with such great comfort and surroundings. Halls Gap Grocer a short drive away. Not a huge selection but enough to get by on.

Amazing location, friendly staff, a lot of animals around. Kangaroos and parrots were our guests every evening. Also not far from the house were Emus and deers. We rented a one-bedroom cabin and it was comfortable. This place exceeded my expectations, highly recommend it.

Loved it!! Large spacious cabin which was very clean, location was perfect & the common areas are amazing! Definitely coming back & would highly recommend staying here.

Amazing stay, the location was fabulous. Lots of nearby walks, hikes, shops, restaurants, plenty of facilities. The cabin was clean and comfortable.
