Every member of staff was so friendly we arrived earlier than check in time so the lovely lady behind the desk helped us and recommended us a lovely place to go for breakfast and advise she’d call as soon as the room was ready which she did. We were able to check in a few hours earlier than the check in time! Overall all staff were so happy to help and friendly and even stored our bags for us prior to check in. They also had a work experience guy who was also really lovely. The location is fantastic and close by to attractions and the bed was genuinely the best and comfiest bed I have ever slept on! We’ve noted down the details to purchase on of our own! Highly recommend staying here I would definitely return

It is just an 8-minute drive from the city centre and the historic Hobart waterfront, including Salamanca... this is one of the best properties we have ever stayed. their attention to details, with everything that you can possibly need, amazing mountain view ,beatufil sunrise , fire place. very cosy and romantic. very spacious. the whole lodge looks unreal and very well maintained

I booked this for my mum and her friends, they only stayed one night. she called me when she had checked in and couldn’t be happier with the accommodation and the owner. the ladies loved the old style of the accommodation and the gardens, the owner was very friendly and accommodating.

This historic property was built in 1906 and has been refurbished to highlight the original fireplaces and stained glass windows. very comfortable and quite. Very quite in a nice neighborhood and great views. it is a short walk to the historic shops, restaurants and historic docks area. the owner and his staff were extremely friendly. we arrived early and he, and his staff, were really flexible in making sure we were settled and ready to enjoy Hobart. We loved the complimentary kitchen larder for a quick morning bite and the evening port in the parlor.
