This was a truly great property where everything exceeded our expectations by a wide margin. The room was superb and exceptionaly clean. The small-scale Boutique Hotel Huys van Steyns is housed in the former residence of Louis Steyns, the founder of a famous shoe brand, and offers a private garden and bicycle rental services. A beautifully renovated period property with nods to it's link to shoe making. Owner was very helpful as it was our first visit to Tongeren and we appreciated his recommendations . Close to centre with parking on site. Excellent breakfast.

This boutique hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with flat-screen TV and elegant furniture. Caelus VII includes free Wi-Fi. Very good accomodations in the historic centre of Tongeren. I'm on a bikepacking trip and the owners and staff were very accommodating, helping me with a safe place to store my bike and a charger for my GPS and phone when mine was broken. I had a nice room with a comfortable bed and some beautiful vintage furniture. All in all a great place to spend the night after 153km on my bike.
