Located in a beautiful green park, La Butte aux Bois is a stylish hotel from 1924 with luxurious rooms and an elegant restaurant at the entrance of National Park Hoge Kempen. Very welcoming and comfortable. The staff went out of their way on both visits to make sure that my two small dogs and I were happy - the beds, bowls and treats for my dogs were much appreciated. My meals were truly delicious and as it happens, I had room service during my stay - all perfect and on time, including early breakfasts.

Hotel Zuid is a family-run hotel with a peaceful and beautiful location at one of the entrances of the National Park Hoge Kempen, one of the biggest national park in Belgium. It is a really nice quite place, staff are friendly. Great coffee. 🙂

She is amazing lady, very friendly and helpful. Place is nice, parking easy and free. Access to Maastricht is simple and easy. Perfect place to stay.

Breakfast was very good, especially the bacon & eggs. This is a family run hotel that has recently been put in the capable hands of one of the children. The new owner has great ideas but is sensible enough to keep the old fashioned values that have built up over the years. Alterations are being made to upgrade the facilities slowly but surely. I would recommend this hotel especially to cyclists or walkers in the area.
