Despite booking during the Belgium F1 race without a car, they went above and beyond to ensure our unforgettable stay, offering pick-ups and drop-offs to the nearest train station. Throughout our visit, they provided invaluable assistance, arranging taxis and offering local recommendations. Their willingness to call multiple taxi companies during peak season showcased their dedication and genuine care for guests. It's essential to note that a car is ideal for this serene retreat. However, if you seek a peaceful escape surrounded by nature's beauty, this is the perfect spot. In conclusion, we highly recommend this listing for its incredible setting, warm hosts, and memorable experiences. The location was absolutely stunning and super calm, perfect for a relaxing stay! We didn't use the Sauna and Jacuzzi this time, but we will definitely come back and then we'll try them out.

I had to spend the night near Houffalize on short notice and I had looked for a quiet place, a comfortable bed and a warm meal, on a reasonable budget. This place met all my expectations. The host cooked an excellent evening meal and brewed fresh tea, as I arrived on a freezing cold winter night. The host was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I wish I had a little more time to spend over there to have a decent breakfast. I would most definitily stop there again any time and recommend this place to any friendly fellow traveller.
