Very nice hotel, newly renovated with good amenities. It features big rooms with comfortable beds and a pretty good restaurant. We've been more than once here and definitely stay whenever in the area.

It was one night stay while visiting the fortress in Belogradchik (thought Montana was a better and bigger town for my stay). The hotel is modern and spacious, the staff was kind and helpful with all my requests/questions. The breakfast is simple but enough and good. They also have parking space if you’re driving yourself and are conveniently located in the heart of the city - there is a supermarket walking distance, couple of options for restaurants, even money exchange nearby. Just don’t expect people to speak much English since it’s a much smaller town than Sofia.

Offering a panoramic view of the Stara Planina Mountains, Family Hotel - Restaurant Ring is situated in a quiet location 100 metres from the Lake Augusta. Very clean comfortable room, well exquiped, with lake view.. Nice breakfast.

Offering a spa centre and seasonal outdoor pool, Spa Hotel Ata is situated in Vŭrshets in the Montana Region, 35 km from Vratsa. האזור יפה טבול בירק ועצים. בריכה חיצונית ופנימית, מים מינרליים מצויינים. חדרים גדולים, האוכל בחדר האוכל טעים במיוחד. כל הפינוקים כולל ג'קוזי, חמאם, מיטות חמות, סאונה ועוד ועוד היו לרשותינו. והצוות כולל המנהל של המלון, ניקולאי מאד מאד אינטליגנטים ועוזרים בכל שאלה ובקשה!!!

Offering a restaurant and a bar, Gelov Hotel is located in the centre of Berkovitsa. Free WiFi access and free public parking are available. Unfortunately, due to my personal reasons we could not visit the hotel. We had a chat with the owners and they did not charge us for the booking. Nice, polite people, they understood our change of plan. We hope we will visit the hotel in a near future.

I was in the area to visit the Buzludzha Monument, and this hotel is right at the top of Shipka Pass, which means it was right at the start of one of the two roads up to the monument. I was there between seasons, and the proprietor basically opened up just for me, had a nice room waiting with a heater, and made me a lovely bowl of soup. Looks like this place would be super fun during trekking season, with a bar restaurant and game room, huge wood burning stove and pool table. Great off the beaten track experience, would stay here again in a heartbeat.
