Situated in La Paz, 1.8 km from Irpavi Teleferico Station, Met Hotel features accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The staff answered every question of the many I asked with enthusiasm. Try the bakery right next door, it’s a delicious place. The gym had enough maintained equipment to get in a good workout and then go eat breakfast at the lobby. The breakfast had no dead weight, every item was freshly made and seasonings were there if you wanted to add some extra. Also, my shower head in my bathroom was the size of an iPad, with plenty of hot water.

The staff at the hotel were extremely nice and did everything possible to make our stay pleasant. When two us fell sick with digestive trouble they brought us appropriate food, lots of water and medicine, helped us with several organisational issues for our onward travel, and offered us a late checkout. For those of us who were able to benefit, the rooftop bar offers great views and drinks, and the pool and sauna were perfect to relax after a day in the city. The hotel is in a safe and quiet part of the city, and even though it is a bit far off, the city centre can easily be reached by taxi or cable car. If we ever return to La Paz, this is the place we would choose to stay. Highly recommended.
