This really is a smart hotel - several things have been automated, which makes e.g. the check-in and check-out fast and efficient. There is also a small shop next to the lobby where you can buy some necessities, such as drinking water. Fast elevator, good working air conditioning and a great view (I was on a high floor). Friendly, perfect English speaking staff.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, they gave us a gift at check-in for Easter that we absolutely loved. They also gave directions to find the shopping mall that is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The area is super safe and clean. We walked back from the mall after sunset and felt secure in getting back to the hotel. The breakfast is exactly as pictured in their pictures. It has a large selection and stays open from 6 to 1030. Food stayed warm and is changed out. The shower had the best water pressure I've ever had at a hotel. The rooms and hotel are very nicely styled and modern. They have fresh water, iced tea, and hot tea near reception as well. They even gave a gift when checking out. The wi-fi is 9/10. I work from home and needed to work in the hotel for a day. I had no issues the entire day and was able to join a meeting with no interruptions and the internet never fell. Absolute best hotel wi-fi I've ever had. I gave it a 9 because I could tell it wasn't as fast as a household internet service. I only had med. sized files to download so I'm not sure how it would stand up for upload/larger files. Would probably just take longer to load large files which is just something to keep in mind.

This hotel is modern and well managed. The staff, facilities, self-parking (20BRL per day), location, and price are unmatched. The staff is well trained and kind. The room is well equipped, it even has a balcony with a bar table for two. Wi-Fi is fast enough for a video conference, the bed is comfortable and has USB chargers on both sides. The minibar is also well equipped for typical business hotel in Brazil. The bathroom is new, well lit and the shower is great. The hotel location is great, close enough for a 15-min walk to the city center.

Located in Sao Jose do Rio Preto, 400 metres from Municipal Theater, Comfort Suites São José do Rio Preto provides accommodation with a restaurant, private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a... My dad and I had an exceptional stay at Comfort Suites Rio Preto! First of all, the staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Fernanda and Neto who really helped make us feel right at home. We only stayed for a short time but we chatted with them almost every day, and since my dad doesn’t speak Portuguese it was great that they were still able to communicate with him in english, and it gave him a great opportunity for him to practice some Portuguese too! The rooms were incredibly spacious and well laid-out, they felt like real apartments and were lovely spaces to just hang around in. The breakfasts were always lovely, but I have to hugely commend the chocolate nut brownies especially that I had on our last day – I’m still thinking about them today! We loved spending time at the pool on the rooftop, and my dad really appreciated the available gym facilities too. Lastly, the price for our stay was also fantastic – it felt like we got an exceptional deal considering we booked two separate rooms for about a week’s stay, along with the amenities and the overall great experience. Comfort Suites lives up to its name, I’d recommend anyone visiting Rio Preto to stay there – and we definitely hope to stay there again! Thank you everyone at Comfort Suites Rio Preto :D
