Hotel Canoe and Suites is located in Banff, 2.1 miles from Cave and Basin National Historic Site. Lovely suite hotel in Banff, perfect for our family ski vacation. For a small fee we were moved to a room with a great view of the mountains. Super comfy beds, no noise, friendly staff and fresh coffee tea and milk brought to our room daily. It’s a 15/20 minute walk into Banff which suited us, there’s a free shuttle if you prefer. We didn’t eat in the restaurant so can’t comment on the food. Would definitely recommend

It is near the Banff Gondola and Hot Springs and convenient to the Bus that runs every 20 minutes or so to the center of Banff. The Views are incredible and the amenities are super. Not the cheapest place, but one of the best. Highly recommended for that "special" trip ... great in Winter as well as Summer.

Grassi Lakes is a must visit when staying as it is only a 20 min drive with parking available. The apartment itself is very well equipped, very nicely decorated and has everything you need. Since it was very hot, the mobile fans helped a lot. The barbecue corner in the garden is convenient, even if you share it with other residents. The location to Banff National Park and Canmore is great. Canmore is a beautiful place and very underrated.

It was the log cabin of our dreams (while we stayed in a suite, it still had the log cabin feels and accents). The setting steals the show, with fresh mountain air, soft fluffy snow and absolute tranquility. A lot of care and attention was brought to the place, from fragrant soaps from Rocky Mountain Soap to a handwritten diary and a nice jacuzzi to unwind in. The solid wood furniture and vintage style lighting, alongside a fireplace made it incredible. We were here for our honeymoon and it certainly did not disappoint!
