This place is PARADISE located not in Tobermorry but on the inlet "Big Tub". A real Motel Resort renovated and expanded with much care and love by the owner (who when he is around will take time to chat). All rooms face the water. There are bigger modern rooms, but also 4 little rooms that were the beginning of the first Motel. Wonderful cedar wall and ceilig clading and a large wooden deck in front of the room to just RELAX :-) Jennifer and the team in the boat / Kayak / SUP rental make your stay stressfree and memorable. Fridge, coffee mashine, tabel with 2 chairs in the room, tea kettle with various types of tea available for all in the reception.

El Quality Inn in Southampton, situado en el norte de Ontario, a orillas del lago Huron, ofrece fácil acceso a la playa de Southampton y Sunset Piper. It was great quality all around, nice rooms, parking lot, nice Christmas decorations inside, free coffee and tea area 24/7. One of my favourite things was the two chairs and table in the rooms so you don’t always have to sit on a bed or desk chair. Nice touch. It had a nice breakfast every morning with the essentials for your day like a make your own Belgium waffle which is always fun and some classic stuff like cereal, oatmeal, muffin, yogurt, egg sandwiches, bananas, hard boiled eggs. Also some orange and apple juice. Everyone working there is so kind and down to earth. They were helpful when we needed their assistance. The main road with the shops and restaurants was about a 10 min walk, …if that. It was snowy, so I imagine in the summer it would be an extra quick walk. It was great to go grab food for dinner in the evenings. It was also a short walk to the water to take in that beautiful view as well as the market, the museum and to fairy lake which is a nice peaceful spot. Overall, it’s a top drawer hotel!

The room was a bit on the small side, but it was everything we needed. Being able to go to the beach with a bottle of wine and watch the sunset, and sit back back and listen to the waves. It was perfect. It was everything a relaxing beach vacation evening should be. And sleeping in the bed was extremely comfortable, not stiff or squeaky or old and too used.
