We chose the property purely based on its location between Saquenay and Quebec and time of day we needed to leave the former and arrive at the latter. We arrived tired and hungry at 7pm after a long day of kayaking in Saguenay and the proprietor's answer to our request for dinner suggestions (go to the grocery store for a baguette, some paté, and a bottle of wine and eat it on the balcony) was perfect. We enjoyed the proprietor's sense of humor and chit-chat over breakfast in the morning. He kindly also let us spread out our wet camping gear on the fence and lawn to drive so that we could properly repack it before continuing our journey into Quebec where wouldn't need it for several days.

Located in the lively area of Pointe-au-Pic, La Malbaie, Clarion Pointe La Malbaie is pet friendly and offers spacious and comfortable rooms with free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, flat-screen cable tv,... Great space! Cleanliness was on point. Breakfast was great, plus it’s inexpensive.

Facing the St Lawrence River, Hôtel au Petit Berger is located at Pointe au Pic in La Malbaie. It features an on-site restaurant, tennis court, and rooms with free WiFi. Good breakfast. Had to pay extra for view from room which we had requested.

Centrally located in La Malbaie, this hotel is within 1 km of Murray Bay Golf Course. This property with a view of Saint Lawrence River offers guest rooms with cable TV. our room was small but very cute. It had everything we needed and the cleanliness was impeccable. I have never had a room so immaculate, it felt like home. Breakfast was good but could have added a few more choices. The service was the best. I recommend it 100%. I booked the room with the view.

Centrally located in the Charlevoix region, this cozy inn is an ideal starting point to explore the area's attractions, including the Schooner Museum, the Paper Factory and the Santons of Charlevoix. Sebastien was so warm and welcoming, making us feel so special and at home despite the heightened Covid restrictions. Our stay at Auberge Beausejour still made it a memorable holiday and we would absolutely come back!
