It was super clean, the staff was super nice and welcoming, the continental breakfast was good and the cafeteria super clean and roomy. It was a great value and we will go back.

I was looking for an affordable property close to Parc Mauricie for a night layover. the property’s locations was nice - it was 10 mins away (by car) from Parc entrance. the room was quite spacious and was very clean. the staff at the reception was very courteous and helpful.

Set 2.3 km from La Cite de l'Energie, Gîte Chez Baza is a recently renovated 4-star accommodation in Shawinigan, boasting a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden and parking on-site. The room was spacious, with a private bathroom right next doors. The host is a very interesting man, who offers many complementary add-ons such as a delicious breakfast and a drink. Ultimatelly it was a very good experience for its value, and I'd definitely go back there again in the future.

Set in Saint Mathieu Du Parc, 21 km from La Cite de l'Energie, Auberge Mandala offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. The hosts are fantastic and even kindly gave me a lift to Shawinigan. Thank you. It has a great restaurant with good quality food and beer
