This hotel in Orford is located directly at the base of Mount Orford and is less than 10 minutes’ drive from Magog. The staff went out of their way to accommodate all my requests and even helped de-icing my car after a snowy night. The room is comfortable and light, the bistro served the best food I had in Canada. The historic Le Chateau du Lac located on in a century-old mansion.This Magog hotel, within walking distance of a Lake Memphremagog beach, features a hot tub. Breakfast itself was delicious and varied and having evening access to the ground level coffee and lounge area was great. Storage of our tandem bicycle was convenient and safe.

I am only giving them a 10 because 11 wasn’t an option. I travel a lot and this is the cleanest bed and breakfast I have ever stayed. My room was so comfortable, the bed, bathroom, furnishings, everything was well thought out. It is the small details that make the difference, cold water in the fridge, coffee maker in the room with coffee and cream available, fresh flowers in my room. Breakfast was amazing with different choices each day. And last but not least the hosts were so warm and accommodating. The Inn is close to town and many activities to do in the surrounding area.
