Il Bolita Rainforest Hostel and Cabinas si trova a Dos Brazos de Rio Tigre, a 14 km da Puerto Jimenez. La struttura vanta 14 km di sentieri escursionistici, adiacenti al parco Corcovado. This is a true gem. One of the last of its kind. A beautiful, affordable, tropical mountain retreat in the rainforest with more trails than we could hike in the extent of our stay. The owners were amazingly accommodating and great at communication. The communal cooking facilities were excellent.

La Casita is situated in Dos Brazos. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Guests can make use of outdoor furniture if they wish to dine or sit outside. The best place we stayed in Costa Rica. Dario and Frederica have set up something special here in Dos Brazos, near the Corcovado National Park. Set in the heart of the jungle, in a lovely small Gold Mining village this beautiful guest house is a fantastic place to stay. Great welcome, the most comfortable bed, shower and space of our trip so far. A lovely fresh breakfast, great self catering facilities (but Frederica is a chef and will cook your dinner). Watching the jungle birds from their deck was a true joy. They went out of their way to book us a guide for a day exploring the jungle - a shout out to Jose who was a brilliant tour guide to the jungle. He grew up in the village, was fantastically knowledgeable about animals, history and Costa Rican life. Speaking excellent English. He is also a great artist - get him to show you the furniture he makes. Dos Brazos is also worth a mention such a lovely little village, the residents there welcomed guests so warmly, everyone we met had a smile and hola. Try the homemade ice creams advertised from small house! Perfect treat after a hot walk. La Casita means little house, but this is a little house with a big heart thanks to Dario and Frederica’s love and attention to detail. Great location to allow you explore the wilderness of nature while enjoying the modern comfort. The hosts are a very friendly and helpful couple. When we were leaving, I said to Nony, I don’t want to return the key to you because my heart wants to stay here.

Vogliamo ringraziare Cristian per la sua disponibilità e la sua presenza costante in struttura. Ci ha aiutato in tutte le necessità ed è stato davvero un piacere conversare con lui. Il bungalow prenotato è alla fine di una scalinata piuttosto lunga (ma fa bene alla salute!) , ma una volta arrivati in cima, la vista da lassù ,ti fa dimenticare ogni fatica! Sembra di stare in una casa su un albero con una vista mozzafiato sul mare. Al mattino le scimmie e pappagalli ti danno il buongiorno, la notte puoi ascoltare i rumori della foresta e su un albero vicino al terrazzo vive uno scoiattolo 🐿️! Le scale non sono illuminate, ma questa scelta ha un motivazione ed è stata presa per la sicurezza degli ospiti. Se le scale fossero illuminate, attirerebbero insetti che attirerebbero rane che attirerebbero....serpenti, che potrebbero essere anche molto velenosi.quindi basta munirsi di una torcia e si scendono le scale più serenamente :) Grazie a Julio, il cuoco della struttura, per aver cucinato tutti i pasti e per le belle conversazioni. Grazie alla ragazza (non si il nome!) Per la pulizia impeccabile della camera. Insieme a Cristian si possono organizzare diverse escursioni, ma nei dintorni si possono scoprire luoghi incantevoli anche in autonomia. Grazie!

With Rincon Beach reachable in a few steps, Kinkajoungalows - Amaya Family, Drake Bay, Osa Peninsula offers accommodation, a restaurant, a garden, a terrace and a bar. Sam and his family were really welcoming. We loved staying there. The bungalow was surrounded by nature and so close to the beach. The food was very nice too. Would highly recommend :-)

Situata a Dos Brazos, la Casa Bolita offre un giardino. 29 km da Golfito. La casa vacanze presenta una terrazza, 2 camere da letto, un soggiorno e una cucina ben attrezzata. We were concerned when we booked this as it is off grid, and we were unsure how we would cope staying there for 4 nights in the middle of nowhere. It was absolutely fine though and we would strongly recommend the place. When you arrive, you leave your car at the Rangers office and walk 10 mins to the accommodation. Val and Ron, who run the place, were so helpful with guiding us there and helping to carry bags. They were so friendly and interesting to talk to about their life there. The house is lovely, being very well equipped, clean, and comfortable. It is very private, not being overlooked and surrounded by a large garden. The place is off grid, but there is solar powered USB point for phones, and WiFi is accessible at the Rangers office. Ice was delivered every morning to use in the Pelican cooler, which worked so well to keep everything cool. You need to take all the food with you as there are no restaurants in the local area. The pool is big and lovely to cool down in. The wildlife is amazing, just be prepared to share the accommodation with some of it, there is a small colony of bats in one of the bedrooms, which are harmless and don't bother you and are fascinating to watch. The bird dawn chorus is one we will never forget, so many sounds, along with the magical fire flies at night. Can't list everything we saw, but highlights including the swallow tailed kites, white hawk following the squirrel monkeys along the river. We sat by the river for 3 hours early one morning and let the wildlife come to us. We saw so much! It is a wonderful place and an experience we will never forget and are so glad we did. If you like wildlife, this is the place for you.
