The bar staff on the evening I arrived was terrific and I stayed up WAY too long having a great conversation with the guys. This 4-star hotel is located in the centre of Kiel, directly opposite Kiel Main Station and 100 metres from Kiel Fjord. It offers modern, non-smoking rooms with free WiFi. We had travelled all day by train from London and it was just past midnight when we arrived in Kiel. Thank God when the hotel was visible from the railway station. The staff were super friendly and had even provided a little soft toy for our girl in her cot. I could have cried. Superb breakfast, will be back.
