This is a lovely hotel in a truly breathtaking location. It is a tranquil idyll. The room, with a view to the castle is very large with an equally large and well appointed bathroom. There are glass doors which open onto a private patio and garden with table, chairs and sunshade. It is very quiet. There are many footpaths from the hotel into the lovely countryside and a swimming lake nearby. The breakfast is very good.

The room was comfortable and breakfast was far more than we were expecting (in a good way)! The staff were very friendly and waiting for us with our own set table. Fancy but not pretenious. 10/10 would definitely go back!

This 3-star superior hotel enjoys a quiet location on the edge of Stavenhagen, surrounded by scenic Mecklenburg countryside. Hotel Reutereiche features a cosy restaurant, bar and garden terrace. The lady on reception when we arrived was fantastic. She couldn't speak much English, but though out our stay, on she was on, she was willing, friendly and very helpful. Great.
