Located in the quiet village of Kortelshütte, this 19th-century hotel features a beer garden and a bowling alley. Free internet access is provided in all rooms and free private parking is available. Apart from the bedroom being a bit chilly everything else was more than perfect. Such a peaceful location with beautiful surroundings and real good value for money. We took the half board option and both the 3 course evening meals and breakfasts were fabulous. The restaurant staff were very friendly and the robo-cat waiter who delivered your meals caused some hilarity. Would honestly stop at Zum Weissen Lamm again.

The hostel is located in a beautiful mountainside town with plenty of foliage, trees, and natural plants surrounding the area. The hostel itself is efficiently run by Henry and David, one of the best hosts we've had in a very long time. They were very kind to have suggested local restaurants and spots. They even provided a locally made apple wine and bread! The beds were comfortable, the community kitchen is well equipped, and the outdoor area is perfect for those looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of a city. All in all, this hostel was well worth the stay and value. Henry and David will make sure to make you feel at home. Make sure to say hello to their sheep!

This family-run guesthouse is in the fresh-air resort of Beerfelden Gammelsbach, in the heart of Odenwald forest. We had an excellent short stay during our motorcycle trip through Germany. A dry place to park the bike close to the entrance. Even though we arrived on a rest day the staff made an effort to provide us a great meal and drinks. The staff were friendly and dedicated. Nice large room. Quiet place.

The hosts are careful about details, even a first-aid kit is available. The guest parking is easy and enough for 2 cars (access road is very hilly). It was a great pleasure talking to Hagen, the host (husband). They have a lovely dog. The hosts live in the same building, and can be asked by phone or in-person if something is needed.
