This family owned and run hotel was just wonderful. I did not expect to find such a gem in the outskirts of Schwerin. It is what I call an honest down to earth hotel, the staff wonderful, the room in much better shape than I saw on certain high class hotels in my traveling past. And although I booked on a very short notice during traveling peak season / long weekend, I think I got the best room there - facing west with a balcony, able to enjoy the sunset. And as the hotel, so was the food in the restaurant - honest and very good. I strictly recommend this Hotel.

El Weinhaus Uhle está situado en Schwerin, a 200 metros del castillo de dicha ciudad, y cuenta con bar y restaurante. I loved the mix of old world charm and sleek modern styles. that there’s a fantastic restaurant with excellent wine choice right there in the Hotel was also a brilliant plus. The staff were brilliant and attentive.

Este hotel ocupa un edificio histórico con vidrieras originales del siglo XIX y goza de una ubicación céntrica en Schwerin. Ofrece un restaurante regional y un gran jardín con terraza. Incredible old building. You could feel the historic vibes. Room was HUGE with lots of space for lounging. It had an incredible tub and we had an amazing bubble bath. The mini bar was very affordable so we helped ourselves to it. The staff were welcoming and walked us up to our room to be let in. The keys were a little tricky but thats what you get with an old building and the staff helped me when I was having an issue. I wish we had gotten to stay here for more than one night but I was on tour so thats the life. Highly reccomended!!
