We had no idea about the hotel and I imagine that it is a great place to stay if you're interested in being on the lake. We were only there for one night. We were greeted when we arrived and he was very informative. Our room was nicely appointed and the bathroom was large. Unfortunately, it was a little warm. Since there is no air conditioning, we could have benefitted from a ceiling or room fan. We did ask if they had one. They didn't, but they brought us what they had which was very nice. The breakfast was VERY nice. Lots of variety, there is something for everyone. They staff couldn't be more accommodating. They are lovely people.

Hotel Kranenborgh Steinhude am Meer is located in Steinhude. The hotel also provides free Wi-Fi and free private parking. It was so nice to live here during our trip. The rooms are very clean and warm. Thanks to the owner for arranging the breakfast very early in the morning.

Had a small quiet room in apparently recently renovated hotel with very pretty and pittoresc decoration. Good breakfast and free parking. A really good last night for a busy week on the road. My choice if I’ll be here again.

Offering extensive gardens and free WiFi, this hotel is located in Bad Rehburg. Parkhotel Bad Rehburg lies a 10-minute drive from Lake Steinhuder. Room was excellent, really comfortable and clean. Bathroom was great too. Lady on reception as we arrived very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really nice, good selection, kids had enough choice. Great location for us visiting dino park and brothers Grimm wanderweg. Would visit again.

The location in the shore of the Steinhuder Meer is wonderful and the path around the lake is a worthwhile trip on foot or by bicycle which the hotel will rent you.

Great location right on the lake and in walking distance to restaurants and shops. The breakfast is great although they set up the buffet in a room that isn’t heated so you freeze while filling your plate.
