I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Nuss due to its amazing location, with the Bahnhof just minutes away, providing quick and convenient access to Eibsee within a 10-minute train ride. The staff at the hotel were not only professional but exceptionally kind and accommodating, adding a personal touch to the experience. The combination of a great location, efficient transportation to Eibsee and Zugspitze, and the wonderful hospitality of the staff made my stay memorable and highly recommended. I look forward to returning for another visit.

This hotel has always been a jem in the skirts of the Alps, but now it is even better. All renewed and beautifuly designed. The staff is as always right on spot, very proffesional and polite. Free parking at the property. Perfect location with gorgeous views over the Eibsee lake and Zugspitze - the top of Germany. The restaurant offers quality fresh and gourmet food. The bar has the friendliest, knowledgeable and proffesional bartender. Will alwayshughly recommend! The SPA - facilities are the chery of the pie.

Pools - large indoor and good size outdoor with the views of mountains peeping through everywhere ! This was great feature of our stay. Fun and relaxing! Afternoon coffee and cake was a nice touch and very welcome after a long journey. Staff were helpful and accommodating throughout. Hotel was too busy for us to book last minute support so reception recommended and booked a meal for us at nearby place. Great breakfast. Lots of choice. Very close to cable car - short stroll for the zugspitze round trip.

A unique property. As we were a group of 3 the apartment style room was excellent with views of the mountains. Parking was onsite in an underground garage. Breakfast was very good and the spa/sport facility older but nice. Rooms were comfortable spacious and the rate affordable. Ours even had a balcony. The individual buildings are all connected with basement hallways allowing guests to avoid slippery hills in the winter....a rather unique feature! If the weather permits be sure to go up the Zugspitze

René and Esther were wonderful hosts. They took a real interest in our activities. They care about their guests. The room was comfortable, with a modern bathroom with a good walk-in shower. It was quiet at night. Our room had a small balcony with a view of the mountains. Berwang is a small town and you can walk everywhere. Although there was one flight of stairs to our room, the stairs were not steep and had a good handrail. It's an easy day trip to get to the Austrian side of Zugspitze gondola.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the hotel is conveniently situated close to the Zugspitze bahnhof. You can also see the mountains from some of the rooms. There is a decent sauna and gym room, although the steam room was not on. There was also a kettle in the room which is not often the case in german hotels. The food in the restaurant was good but you need to be aware it’s a set menu and there was no vegetarian or vegan options (not sure if you asked if they could cater for this though)

The location is close to Highline179, Zugspitze, not far from Innsbruck. A lot of parking place, stuff very friendly. Rooms are big, design I would say pretty like other mountain-style hotels in Germany and Austria. Make sure you have shampoo, the one in the room is not that good. Breakfast not too varied but tasty. The restaurant kitchen works till 9pm which is amazing, the cuisine is delicious :) There is a gas station right near the hotel with a small shop.

The apartment had the most amazing view of the Zugspitze from the balcony and the area it was in could not have been better. The town centre/supermarket was a 10 minute walk and station 20, and it was peaceful. The accommodations itself was well kitted out and comfortable, we had everything we could have needed and for an exceptional price. Although the room isn’t enormous, the beds can be tucked away into the wall if you want more space during the day!

A beautiful, elegant hotel in the heart of old historic Partenkirchen. Serene and quiet, with the most amazing view of the Zugspitze. What however impressed us the most was the staff. Extremely friendly and forthcoming, they assured that our stay was as relaxing as possible and indeed memorable. With a keen eye for detail they attended to our every need. We will surely go back to this establishment, hoping to see the same members of staff again.

We were in Miesbach, approximately 30 minutes outside of Munich by train. As we were on Eurail, this was not a problem. There was a self-check-in that worked fine. Laundry on premises was great. Miesbach is a quiet, normal German village we used as our base to visit Salzburg, Andechs, Linderhof, Hallstaat and the Zugspitze. We lucked out and were able to attend the town's open market which was very enjoyable...wonderful people all around!

The location was exceptional. Very near the bahnhof and easy to get around Garmisch. The hotel has all these somewhat hidden luxuries which they should promote more. I didn't know about the nice garden behind the restaurant and that there was a hot pool next to the pool. The bathroom was SPECTACULAR in my room. The service people were great at the front desk - provided tourist pass and helped me book day trip to Zugspitze and Eibsee.

Probably the best apartment in Bavaria that we have ever stayed in! Very large with lots of windows and a good-sized balcony overlooking a magnificent view of the Zugspitze. Extremely clean and outfitted with everything you could need. Fantastic location very close to downtown, restaurants, and the Zugspitzbahn. There is a Lidl and another grocery store close by as well. Host was great and very helpful. Highly recommend!!

We loved Hotel Zugspitze. It was centrally located in town, close to the train station, and comfortable. The staff and restaurant downstairs were both excellent. The Double Comfort room was spacious, had a great view, and provided great amenities like free water and a very nice espresso machine. The breakfast each morning was amazing too! We’d recommend to anyone looking to stay in Garmisch!

Beautiful apartment. Very comfortable, clean. Full kitchen, plenty of tables/seating, spacious rooms, comfortable beds. Two beautiful balconies with gorgeous views. Apartment walkable to a grocery store (Lidl) and not far from the quaint downtown area. Very close to Wank Mountain, which we really enjoyed exploring over Zugspitze and Eibsee. Fewer crowds! Communication was excellent.

Great location right off of the main historic street of Partenkirchen (2 minute walk). The apartment was spacious and had enough room to accommodate a family. It was easy to use the kitchen to cook. The patio looked nice and had a view of Zugspitze, but it was winter, so we didn't use it every much. It was a quick drive (and probably a long walk) to the main area of Garmisch

The apartment is very well located, visual is magnificent. You can see the top of Zugspitzel from the balcony. House is fully equiped, heating works really well and kitchen was fully equiped, we could cook dinnner every night and prepare food for oour baby. We ended up booking last minute but we were trully satisfied and honestly recomend this apartment for everyone.

Very well maintained hostel with welcoming hosts in an idyllic small town on the border of Austria and Germany. Great location for hikers or cyclists looking to explore the Zugspitze area without staying in a busy town or expensive hotel. Kitchen and laundry facilities were good, and breakfast buffet was well worth the small charge.

The location of this property is ideal for a quick ski trip to the Zugspitze. Communication with the owner was easy, and since we arrived on Christmas Eve, we were able to pickup the front door key at the property easily. The decor is cute, the rooms except the bathroom are large, and the view from the apartment is fabulous!

- fantastic location: Mountain Views from the bedroom, easy walk around the town to restaurants / beer gardens / shops - convenient location to Eibsee/ Zugspitze - very helpful and kind staff - great beer garden/ restaurant attached to the hotel that attracts many visitors (not just hotel guests).

Apartment was large and quiet and had everything pots and pans needed to cook for our family. Salt and sugar but no coffee, tea or oil. Extra towels in the closet. Balconies on each side with beautiful Mountain Views. Kids loved the beds coming out of the wall :) bus stop for zugspitze and eibsee around the corner.
