The room was absolutely beautiful as was the property. Lots of thoughtful details, like a bug swatter lol. The bed was big and comfortable, and there was an automatic shade so you could make it dark in the room. The coffee maker was really nice. We had a problem with the hot water but that's because we turned the handle the wrong way, and nevertheless the manager came over on a sunday night to help fix it. The restaurant is closed on sunday (we didn't know this) so we didn't get to try it, but the following day after breakfast (which was delicious-- fruit was so sweet and perfect) we treated ourselves to some of the amazing cocktails and they did not disappoint.

This hotel was a "little gem" The rooms were well appointed, the view was outstanding, and the concierge was well versed and offered multiple ideas for the island. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, breakfasts and the afternoon refreshment after a day of exploring the island. The staff was warm and welcoming. The rooms are perfectly appointed. We spoke very little English yet we were able to communicate our needs and the staff was very understanding and worked with us to figure out what we needed. Perfect place.

The hotel is super clean and pretty, the rooms are really comfortable and the location is really good if you are looking to relax on the beach and go to restaurants on orient bay! I would say that from all the island the best place for couples is orient bay and within orient bay La playa is the go to hotel!!
