They prepared a superb breakfast and we loved to talk about life with Jaume. The room was nicely decorated it was clean and spacey. Only regret that we didn`t have enough time to stay longer in this fantastic hotel.

In Las Terrenas, this hotel features an outdoor pool and luxurious suites and apartments with kitchen facilities. El Catey de Samana International Airport is a 40-minute drive away. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve been served with an extremely generous time span of 7:30-11:30 so we didn’t need to worry about missing it if you wanted to sleep in. The apartment was huge and had everything you need with an amazing pool area literally steps from your room and the beach a few steps further. We were worried to hear loud music from cars and scooters on the balcony and in the living room but the bedrooms were so soundproof we had amazing sleeps. The staff is the best. They can arrange pickup and tours and whatever you need. They even text me that a massage day was available and could be in the private gazebo by the pool or your room if you preferred. What a treat! I don’t understand any of the negative reviews because this place was beyond our expectations.

The villa is surrounded by a fantastic tropical garden, is very elegant and charming. Very quiet area, just a few minutes walk to the nearest beach. The room was very spacious and had an enormous and very cozy terrace. It was hard for us to leave 😍.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The bungalows are cute and have everything we needed for 2 nights. It felt safe and we could walk to the beach and restaurants. We could park our car inside, although there's limited space so be sure to contact them before.

Samana peninsula is absolutely beautiful and this hotel is on a magnificent beach. The atmosphere is tranquil, and sea swimming is beautiful. The pools are wonderful too. Nice staff, especially Nikolas at reception who was very helpful Recommend going to El Limon to hike to the waterfall.

This was a last minute booking as our flight from Samana was cancelled and rebooked for the next day. We only dealt with one staff member really, while we were checking in. She was absolutely amazing! We were obviously stressed and tired from our day and she made the check-in process seamless. She also go everything set for our check-out the next morning as we were leaving at 6:00am. We has an issue with the AC in our room, we couldn't get it to work. She came over and after also not being able to get it to work she offered to move us to another room and helped us with our baggage. This all seems like basic things, but after the day we had we really appreciated it. Overall we love the warm welcoming vibe of the resort! I would love to go back and checkout the resort and area more.

Very attentive staff. Receptionist answered all my questions and was very helpful and also the guys at the bar were very nice and fast with the delivery of the food which also was a big portion for a good price. The Villa was spacious and every room had air conditioner. I aleays use the BBQ here and the guts at the bar help you start the fire and provide charcoal! This has been my second stay at chalet tropical and all i can say is this is the best place to enjoy as a couple or with your family. Will surely be back again!

I would like to share my experience at Hacienda Cocuyo, which was truly amazing. The peaceful and serene ambiance, combined with the breathtaking natural surroundings, made it an unforgettable stay. The rooms were fantastic and comfortable, and the fresh mountain air and sea breeze were invigorating. The restaurant had a varied menu, offering both local and international basic dishes, although if you are looking for extensive local cuisine and more variety, it's just a 10-minute drive away. The locally-made breakfast was delicious and a perfect way to start the day, while evenings spent by the campfire near the pool with a cocktail, wine, or local beer were magical. The staff at Hacienda were incredibly service-minded and helpful, making the whole experience even more special. I also appreciated the ECO-friendly approach of the place, with no lifts, no TV or AC in the room, pure back to basics and one with nature! Overall, I would highly recommend Hacienda Cocuyo to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing, and memorable vacation.

loved the staff! Alex, Enzo and Stanley were great and helpful. The property is gorgeous and tons to do. The zip line was one of the best we have been on and the available bikes to ride to the beach were great! Loved the all-inclusive with food and rum drinks. sleeping outside was an adjustment, but incredible, especially when it rained. You sleep under a mosquito net with fan going and never felt a bug. I loved the fact that you meet new people from around the world!
