The location put you within walking distance to many sites. Breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious. The staff constantly made sure that you had what you needed. At one point my wife had an upset stomach and the staff was quick in making sure she was treated. They went as far as going out and getting her chicken soup. John and Elizabeth were awesome hosts and made the stay memorable. I recommend you have them take you on their tours. Their tours are customized for you. I highly recommend this hotel. Hotel La Cierva de San Marcos is conveniently located in the centre of Quito, and offers a shared lounge, free WiFi and a terrace. Everything was really good, specially the attention that we get from Gloria and Hernan, they made us feel at home and helped us with every detail of the trip, including an excellent tour around the historical center by Hernan, who knows a lot of history of the city and the Ecuadorian culture. The Hotel is good located, it is in a quiet traditional neighborhood within the historical center and we felt safe during our stay. We highly recommend this Hotel and their hosts.
