Plus front desk was able to print a document for us. Comfortable beds. Room 208 was quiet from traffic noise, but earplugs still needed due to a rooster crowing in the morning. Breakfast was simple, yet included three different cheeses. Great location for visiting Dendara Temple and Abydos. Came by minibus from Luxor and departing via overnight GoBus to Cairo. Had tasty meals at the Papa Burger and Koshari restaurants on either side of the hotel.

This is one of the best accommodation in our life. The view from the room and also from the terrace is beautiful on the mountains of the Valley of the Kings. The apartman was really modern and new, our stay was really comfortable, the host was also really kind and gentle. There were several opportunities for fun activities such as boat trip on the Nile, balloon flight or simply to visit the many amazing archaeological sites. This place is really perfect for long stays as you can easily find programs for a whole week or even more.

Janat Elsahara Hotel is a charming independent hotel with an outdoor swimming pool, garden, patio, roof terraces, meeting/yoga space, and a restaurant serving fresh, locally sourced produce. Wonderful place to stay in Luxor. The owner and his family were very kind and helpful. The garden and the pool look fantastic. The rooms are fine, bathroom may need some renovation but it's fine nevertheless. The meal was great too - simple, but tasty: my first day in Luxor was the 6th one in Egypt (after Cairo) - this was the first day I actually enjoyed a dinner during my trip. I really recommend to let them arrange your pickup from the airport (and ask them for driving you around the town / landmarks later if you need), this will be much cheaper and more comfortable.
