I think in August this may be an awesome place to see the Perseids. The room is really big and comfortable. The surroundings are really nice, especially if you're looking for walks in nature. I was pleasantly surprised!

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Finca El Romeral is set in Alpera, 25 km from Almansa. Free private parking is available on site. The accommodation features a flat-screen TV. The Finca was a great place to stay. A rural location 4km along a dirt track (flat and well maintained but stony so we drove slowly in our hire car). The house was lovely and decorated with many interesting pictures and ornaments. The owner was very friendly and helpful, he directed us to a good walk the day we were there. The food was all home cooked and excellent and also very good value for money. The lounge area was very comfortable and the outside seating area around the pool was a nice place to sit in the autumn sun (too cold to swim when we were there in late October).

We loved the peaceful location in the mountains. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was spacious and had air conditioning with a well appointed bathroom. Everywhere was very clean. We booked half board and the food at dinner was very good and drinks reasonably priced. Breakfast was good, but the toast was a bit hard. The hotel has well manicured gardens and a pool with sun loungers and garden table and chairs.

The house was more than we expected. As we took our smal dog she was able to wander free. It was only a short drive into nearest town with normal bank, shopping and bar/restaurant facilities, and near to the stunning lakes. Beautiful surroundings with benefit of a terrace to enjoy a wine and a log fire as evening a little chilly. Would recommend and are planning to return in the future. 5* and staff on hand if needed.
