En gammal mjölfabrik från 1827 gjordes om helt och hållet för att erbjuda besökaren bekvämlighet och komfort av ett modernt hotell.De mysiga rummen med traditionella detaljer och omsorgsfull design... Great location for transport links and for doing the Camino del Rey walk. The restaurant was too class and the hotel’s situation meant there were stunning views all around. The rooms were clean and decorated in a modern yet rustic design and the pool was lovely!

Detta rustika hotell ligger mellan reservoarerna Conde del Guadalhorce och Guadalteba i parken Desfiladero de los Gaitanes. Här erbjuds rymliga rum med vacker utsikt över skogen och gratis Wi-Fi. The hotel as other describe it - is 'rustic' - which translates to a bit dated. but the atmosphere is homey welcoming and warm, and the location is breath-taking in its beauty. When we arrived the gentleman who received us not only checked us in but also provide the full complement of information relevant to those coming to visit the Caminito Del Rey. It's true the mattress did seem a bit dated and perhaps the showers remnants from the 20th century but it is an out-of-the-way small hotel catering to hikers - i do not think that such amenities are top of mind for people wanting to hike in the area. the restaurant in the hotel was so forthcoming - with one of us being a vegetarian they went out of their way to accommodate special requests. I strongly and resoundingly recommend this hotel.

Poolen!! Nära till Caminito Del Rey. Utsikten över berg och dal! Att de kunde ordna med frukost paket (förvisso tillagat dagen innan) då köket öppnade först kl.08.00. Tvåbäddsrum Superior! Lunchen var supergod! Personalen var mycket hjälpsam, men det var tur att jag kunde lite spanska… Bagageförvaring. Att man kan stanna kvar i poolområde/restaurang efter utcheckning.

the pool area and Garden was good for the children, the house was clean and when we had problems they were dealt with very quickly. The wifi is good and the kitchen was quite well stocked. it was not too far away from El Chorro and the Caimito del Rey. Although the roads are a little treacherous. Also we left a computer lead behind and the host was kind enough to arrange for it to be sent to us.

The cabin is very homey and has everything that you would need! The bed was comfortable and the area is really relaxing. Great porch to take in the surroundings. There are many great hiking routes close by and Jane made sure that we had everything that we needed and even gave us some of her duck eggs. We will be back! 100% recommend!

We were warmly welcomed and felt right at home. The little house is part of an old farmhouse property with lots of plants and flowers. The place is comfy & cozy. We loved the rustic, authentic charm. It was a bit like traveling in time and a nice contrast to some modern hotel where every room looks the same. Also, the outdoor areas are really nice, especially the orange trees around the pool. The owner, was very helpful and super friendly. Great for: a romantic getaway, garden lovers, people that travel with their dog, people who travel by car.

Very friendly and approachable hosts.We had a really nice holiday, it was so peaceful tucked away in the hills with access to some lovely walks. We also loved the hosts very lovable dogs!
