Set on a hillside in the Castillian countryside, this rural hotel provides the ideal setting for a peaceful getaway in and around the Cañón de Río Lobos nature park. The staff were very helpful.. We were able to have a high standard of lunch at the restaurant even though we were the only costumers. The location.is excellent. The room was comfortable.

Posada Los Templarios is a restored 17-century house located within the natural setting of Río Lobos Canyon, Soria. It features a unique spa built into a cave and fantastic landscape views. The hotel was lovely, quiet, peaceful and the couple who ran the hotel were very kind and helpful. the location was beautiful and perfect for hiking to Canyon de Los lobos park and the Templar hermitage of San Bartolomé. the food was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

Featuring charming rooms with mountain views, Posada Real de Carreteros is set in Casarejos, 2 km from Cañon del Rio Lobos Park. Housed in a 300-year-old building, it offers a restaurant. The staff: everybody treated us perfectly !

We didn’t use the ‘spa bath’, but I am sure it would have been great. Kitchen, dining, living area was fine for a couple. Bathroom was nice with a good sized shower. All of the fixtures and fittings were of a good standard and the off street parking capped off a very enjoyable stay. A good base for interesting places to visit and the roads are a dream to drive - virtually empty!
