A little gem in the heart of Almagro. Situated within walking distance of everything the town has to offer. On arrival we were greeted warmly by Elena and given the choice of two rooms. Each equally unusual and superbly decorated and fitted with a small kitchenette. The building itself has been designed and decorated in true Castille la Mancha style with reminders everywhere of Cervantes' hero. Our bed was enormous and extremely comfortable, although pillow a little hard for my taste. Everywhere was not just spotless but sanitised throughout. In the evening the entrance hall was warm and welcoming with soft lighting and ambient perfume. The day time temperature was 42 each day but the air conditioning was just perfect and easy to control. There was just one downside and absolutely not the owner's fault but the room opened up onto a shared courtyard and other guests decided it was a good place to dry their washing so we had a great view of their underwear draped over chairs and the ironing board. Such a shame. The small kitchenette is perfect for storing cold drinks, making a coffee or preparing snacks and is well equipped. Quirkily it sits inside what looks like a small armoire, subtly hidden from the room. Plenty of power sockets and a state of the art hairdryer are also included. If you want somewhere original and comfortable, this is THE place to stay. As a final note there is plenty of street parking around the building.

The host was very hospitable and willing to help. Hostal is near to the lakes in the walking distance. I recommend this place.

A really beautiful well appointed hotel. Everything was to a high standard and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and we had it in a beautiful room. The room was very nice, comfort bed and good shower. All in all a great hotel and a nice stay.

This hotel is named after its surrounding district, famous for its smart noble mansions. It lies a pleasant 15-minute walk from the monuments of Toledo city centre. Deasemeni in fata hotelului este o statie de autobuz, linia 71, care va poate duce direct in Plaza de Zocodover . Privelistea pe care o ai atunci cand esti la hotel este incantatoare, mai ales daca ai camera cu vedere spre oras. Dealtfel poti sta linistit la piscina hotelului si sa admiri silueta orasului , in timp ce te racoresti in zilele toride de vara , asa ca nu uita costumul de baie acasa. Personalul hotelului este foarte amabil si prietenos , zambind in permanenta , gata sa-ti ofere informatii atunci cand le ceri . Micul dejun este indestulator , cu produse de calitate , oferite de o doamna amabila , dispusa sa-ti spuna numele spaniol al alimentelor pe care le consumi . Camerele sunt modern mobilate , cu un pat confortabil , binemeritat dupa ce parcurgi orasul la pas. Daca ai venit cu masina o poti lasa linistit in parcarea din fata hotelului si sa incepi explorarea zonei pe jos .
